Summer is coming! Or should be here and you might need some inspirations and ideas for things to make for the warm days ahead.
I picked up a huge load of fresh organic Danish rhubarb the other day and needed to make some things with it and as you can see last year and this year I enjoy trying new things with the stuff!
This drink recipe is something new but super refreshing and after you make up a batch you can enjoy it for a couple of days! I topped mine up with some sparkling water to add some fun and bubbles but more standard tap water will work just as well!
Everyone is different! Through some fresh cut up lime, lemons, mint or anything else to garnish it and serve over ice and enjoy the natural sweet delicious drink this summer.
Super easy recipe with only a handful of ingredients but requires some overnight soaking and loving to make the magic happen!
- 1kg Fresh Cut Rhubarb
- 4 Cups Water
- Juice from 1 Lemon
- 4 Tablespoon Honey
- Place cut up rhubarb into a bowl and pour over boiling water and leave over night to soak and for the rhubarb to release its juiciness
- Next day drain this water and stir in the remaining ingredients until everything is combined.
- Pour into your jug, jar, container etc... add some ice and garnish and pour some water on top
